ACCOMMODATION

Directions :
From the Hume Hwy take the Illawarra Hwy exit then turn towards Canyonleigh. That is Canyonleigh Rd (our road).
We are just over 2kms down there on the left. Look for timber fencing and willow trees.

The cottage is the first house you come to on the driveway.
The garage is suitable for small/ medium cars only as it has a low roof. Additional parking is just past the cottage in a gravel car park on your right. Please do not drive or park on the grass.

NB: if you are coming on the Hume Hwy from the south some maps will tell you to take Inverary Rd – do not do this as it is a long slow detour. It is much better to stay on the highway until you get to the Illawarra Highway exit.



*There are 2 small dogs, you can play with them outside but DONOT let them in the house.

  • Gather used towels – leave used towels in one of the bathrooms
  • Throw rubbish away – put all rubbish in the wheelie bin in the garage. There is no recycling bin. It is sorted at the rubbish centre.
  • Turn things off – ensure that heating/cooling, lights and electronics are turned off before you leave.
  • Return keys – leave the door unlocked and key in the bowl in the kitchen table.
  • Empty the fridge and freezer. A cleaning surcharge may apply if the house is not left in a tidy manner.

PRIZES

Overall Individual Winner (sum of 2 rounds)
– name engraved in perpetual trophy
– takes home perpetual
– a dozen golf balls

Overall Team Winner (sum of 2 rounds)
– team name engraved on perpetual trophy
– takes home one of 4 trophies to keep
– a dozen golf balls per team member

Five dozen golf balls will be purchased as part of shared cost.
E.g. for $70 per dozen, total cost will be $350.
Therefore it will cost ($350/8) $44 per person to contribute to the prizes.

Dinner – is based on separate rounds.
I.e. the winning team on Saturday’s round eats free on Saturday.
Winning team on Sunday’s round eats free on Sunday.

GOLF RULES OVERVIEW

  1. Hazard (red stake & bunker) – play from hazard or 1 shot penalty drop
  2. Lost ball – 2 shot penalty drop from fairway
  3. Out of bounds (white & black stakes) – 2 shot penalty drop or retake
  4. No gimmes – must putt out
  5. Putting line – you cannot stand behind the putting line of a player
  6. Ready golf – avoid delays and play your shot if you can
